Rhyolite mountains around Landmannalaugar in Iceland. Shot in the afternoon sun on one of the few sunny days we had on Iceland.

You can find subjects everywhere; even close to home! Deze macro image was made between some showers on our roofterrace. Aperture f/4.0, exposure 1/1000 sec., iso 200. The nikkor 105mm 2.8 (157mm on a DSLR) is unbeatable for this kind of imagery.
