These rowan berry (Sorbus aucuparia) were shot during an autumn walk in the nearby Province of Drenthe. A familiar sight during this time of year.
This duck was so kind and posed for the 105mm. Aperture at f/3.2 ensured a warm blurry green background that lets the brown colors of the duck stand out nicely.
Sunflowers, always an impressive sight! This one was shot while being partly in the shade, and the front of the flower only had some indirect lighting coming from the white painted walls around it. This was the result; even without reflector (or post processing).

You can find subjects everywhere; even close to home! Deze macro image was made between some showers on our roofterrace. Aperture f/4.0, exposure 1/1000 sec., iso 200. The nikkor 105mm 2.8 (157mm on a DSLR) is unbeatable for this kind of imagery.
